During this class, students learned how to look at the economic side of engineering decisions, to determine a proposed project’s benefits/costs over the life of the project, to do the life cycle analysis, and to determine who should carry out the projects.
CIVL4530/6530- Highway Geometric Design

During this semester I am teaching student the Chapter 9 of the Green Book (Intersection Design). Students will learn ways to reduce crashes at intersections. I also will teach them how to design roadway horizontal and vertical alignments. The projects will be conducted in the following month and I will evaluate the students work and grade.
