The projects I have been involved in since I started my PhD consist of two main types: those related to the courseworks and those research projects I am working on as a research assistant at Auburn university.
The main project I am currently working on is the "Evaluation of Red Light Cameras Safety Improvement Program in Alabama" starting at January 2014 and funded by Highway Research Center (HRC) Advisory Committee in department of Civil engineering, Auburn University. This is divided into sub-projects including the Impacts of RLCs on Clearance Lost Time, Before-After Crash Analysis: Evaluation of Red Light Cameras in Opelika, Investigating the effect of Geometric Design on Red Light Running (RLR) Crashes in Alabama, Prioritizing Alabama Signalized Intersections to be Treated with Appropriate Countermeasures for Red-Light Running Crashes, collecting data through conducting field surveys and from databases such as CARE.
